Negative-ion features appear in some wellness-product marketing, but a useful product claim requires more than a large number on a page.
What should be documented?
Ask for the generator model, output test method, units, measurement distance, operating conditions, laboratory or supplier source, and the exact product models covered by the report.
Marketing claims versus evidence
An output measurement does not by itself prove air purification, mood improvement, treatment, recovery, or another health outcome. Product pages should keep technical measurements separate from medical or wellness conclusions.

Questions for any manufacturer
- Can you provide the complete dated report?
- Does the report name the exact model?
- Where and how was the measurement taken?
- Which claims are measurements, and which are interpretations?
